| How would
VanPrint like me to supply my files for printing?
• Your document should be saved
the size that you want it printed
• Keep all text at least 3mm from away the edges
• If your job uses bleeds, please add an additional 3mm on each
side
• Although we refer to full colour printing, when designing you
can have as many or as few colours as you want – the price is
the same
• When supplying a PDF, please be sure to convert all text and
graphics to outline first
• Make sure your images are scanned at a minimum of 300 dpi to
the size you are going to use them
• Try not to use duotones or RGB, convert to CMYK for best
results
• Avoid large areas of flat colours or large gradation, with
digital print you can get banding
• If you have large areas of solid black, you should set the
black up as Rich Black
• If there is a problem with your files, we will contact you
